Wilma Subra will speak about her experiences working with cancer clusters communities in Louisiana.

Biography:
Wilma Subra is an American environmental scientist.
She graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in microbiology, chemistry and computer sciences. She worked for the Gulf South Research Institute (GSRI). She served as vice-chair of the EPA National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology (NACEPT), She is a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship “Genius” Award. She was in the 2010 documentary Gasland.
