The National Disease Clusters Alliance is proud to be a founding member of the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition, a national campaign to reform and modernize current toxic chemical policy.
The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) of 1976 is not working and reform is long overdue. A reformed TSCA would serve as the backbone of a sound and comprehensive chemicals policy that protects public health and the environment, while restoring the luster of safety to U.S. goods in the world market.
The Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition represents more than 11 million individuals and includes parents, health professionals, advocates for people with learning and developmental disabilities, reproductive health advocates, environmentalists and businesses from across the nation.
