What We Do
Terry on Sep 4th 2010
Our Scientific Advisory Teams are Creating:
Disease Cluster Action Threshold
Currently there is no clear understanding on the state or federal level about the appropriate level of response to disease clusters. This hinders government response to community concerns about disease clusters. NDCA responds when communities are concerned.
New Protocols of Response
Currently there is insufficient government health tracking and cluster response. NDCA is creating recommended protocols of response for states to adopt and for communities to have a roadmap for action when the frightening concerns of a disease cluster arise.
Independent Universal Community Health Survey
NDCA is creating an innovative community-based survey tool that will enable communities to collect sound scientific data to document the concerns in their communities.
Training Programs
NDCA provides training to educate government officials and community members on the new protocols of response and the survey tools.
Rapid Response Team
Our response team operates like the “Red Cross” responds to disasters. NDCA’s rapid response team responds first on the scene when there is any question of a suspected disease cluster in a community.
